Here is a video showing our sucessfull launch. This balloon achieved a (confirmed) altitude of 98,934 ft. above sea level. We launched from
Ritzville, Washington and it landed about 20 miles from Deary, Idaho. Special thanks to Dan, NV2Z and Steve, KG5AO for their help with this
launch and retrieval!!!
This was my first ever launch. We did get it launched, however never did find it. We never had tracking through APRS
and still not 100% sure why. Soon after we launched the balloon, only 1 other station (Kurt KG7OQY) was able to track it, and it only lasted for about
1 hour. We lost contact with it at 14,000 ft. some where over Harrington, Washington.
